This is a lovely picture book which tells us so much about plants, how they work, and how they evolved… as warm as the loveliest story but it's non-fiction, and absolutely full of amazing facts… A must-have for a primary school library. It's also a book with a powerful message of our time to know GREEN really is the most important colour in the world. - BookTrust
Davies takes us deep inside the way the tree is an essential part of keeping the environment liveable for us human beings and all other living creatures… Ultimately this book is an optimistic one. - The Letterpress Project
This is a rich and wonderful book, essential for any setting that wants to encourage children to love nature. - Nursery World
