Review
‘Pinky has written a book with the flair of an avid reader and the analysis of a seasoned lawyer.’
—Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and Highways
‘When a lawyer asks the question why I became a lawyer as a question to deal with existential issues of oneself and the rest of the world, she is without doubt a sensitive soul. Pinky Anand with her keen intellect coupled with sensitivity has beautifully grasped the interplay between the play in the courts and the motions of the world. A treat of different sorts that will invite you many times with the same interest.’
—R. Venkataramani, Attorney General for India
‘Pinky Anand has blazed a trail not just as a woman practising law at the highest echelons but more importantly as a lawyer fighting for the rights of women. The cases she talks about are the ones that define an evolving India but more importantly an India upon which change has been forced upon by the law—something that drew Pinky to this profession in the first place. Remarkably told and insightfully laid out.’
—Suhel Seth, Indian businessman and columnist
‘Pinky’s book is a fine line between an academic study and an engaging novel.’
—Naina Lal Kidwai, chairperson, Rothschild & Co India
