About the Author

Jemima was born into a hippy lifestyle in the 1960s and her unorthodox, carefree upbringing has inspired her creativity throughout her working life. Formerly a commercial textile artist, Jemima is now retired and dedicates her creative energies to her one-true love - children's books! Jemima's writing celebrates childhood innocence and wonderment at the smallest of things.

Patrick was born in Yorkshire, UK and from an early age had a deep interest in art and drawing. He studied Art to degree level and now primarily works digitally. A Neil Gaiman 'The Wolves in the Walls' book signing in 2004 inspired Patrick to focus on children's books. For many of his illustrations he likes working with light and shadow, and often tries to create a dreamlike atmosphere.
