About the Author

Lesley D. Biswas grew up in McCluskiegunj, and dreamed of playing cricket. But instead of a bat, she ended up with a pen in her hand. Currently based in Kolkata, she's a freelance writer who enjoys writing children's stories the most. She's also passionate about nature, gardening and bird photography.

Aratrika Choudhury is an illustrator, doctoral scholar and fox enthusiast. Her first comic strip was published in The Obliterary Journal, Vol. 2 (2014). Since then she has illustrated several books and periodicals and has worked with Pratham Books, Jadavpur University Press, HarperCollins and others. Her doctoral work explores image-text relations in illus-trated Bengali and British publications. She loves to observe and paint animals and birds, particularly foxes.
