About the Book -

This anthology brings together Prose and Poetry which was featured on the ‘Court Jester’ page of the Lawyers Collective Magazine from 1993 to 2003. The feature was immensely entertaining and popular. Long out of print and difficult to access, there was a consistent demand over the years from its fans to collect all the pieces together and publish them as a book. These pieces can still be enjoyed with much pleasure and profit because no one ever learns from their mistakes. Ludicrous behaviour will never go out of fashion, and bloated egos still require puncturing.

About the Author -

An alumnus of St. Xaviers College and Government Law College, Bombay Mr. Moray is a practicing lawyer. He was enrolled as an advocate in 1985 and joined the Chambers of Advocate Michael F. Saldanha (Later judge of Bombay & Karnataka High Courts). For the past 35 years Mr. Moray has been contributing articles and poems to the various publications of the Lawyers Collective. An anthology of his ‘Court Jester’ columns for the Lawyer’s Collective magazine was published as a book ‘COURT JESTER’ to critical acclaim in 2017 and a series of 60 poems penned during the lockdown was published as ‘THE LOCKED DOWN LAWYER’ in December 2021.
