About the Author

Anne Rooney is an award-winning author whowrites on science and the history of science for children and adults. Her Dinosaur Atlas was shortlisted for the Royal Young People's Book Award 2018 and won the School Library Association Information Book Award (ages 7-12), 2018. She has a degree and a PhD from Trinity College, Cambridge and has been a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Newham College, Cambridge. Her books have been translated into 22 languages.

Margarida is an illustrator, living and working in London. Although she enjoys very much working digitally, pencils and crayons are her all-time favourites. She always carries her sketchbook, where she doodles new ideas.
Her work is colourful, layered, textured and detailed. She gets easily inspired by people, films, photography, vintage illustration and history. When she's not working or drawing in her sketchbook, she enjoys developing small personal projects that usually involve printmaking, embroidery, lego and miniature models.
She also collects children's books and interesting illustrated packaging.
